Our wines are a timeless marriage of history and innovation, and there’s no better way to explore them than by visiting one of our unique tasting room experiences. Transport yourself back to the gold rush days of California at our San Simeon tasting room, or discover the true potential of sustainable agriculture at our Paso Robles estate vineyard.
Club members and friends of the winery are invited to join us in celebrating award-winning wines, breathtaking locations, and worthy causes. From behind-the-scenes tours through the world's premier wine regions to intimate evenings at our own vineyard property—each of our events is an unforgettable experience that celebrates excellence in winemaking.
Just a few miles inland from the fog-touched hills of San Simeon, in the heart of the Paso Robles Appellation, lie ninety-acres known as Saunder's Vineyard. For over twenty-five years, the clay loam soil and perfect meso-climate there have combined to create award-winning grapes for the Hearst Ranch Winery.
Receive a curated Hearst Ranch Winery experience by joining our Legacy Wine Club. Along with a wide array of members-only benefits, our Legacy Club receives two six-bottle shipments hand selected by our winemaker. Club members may also apply for Proprietor's Reserve status to receive our exclusive selection of Reserve wines.
Independently, Steve Hearst and Jim Saunders both possess experience, imagination, and the integrity to create great things. Together, their shared vision on sustainable agriculture, resource protection, and historical preservation brought Hearst Ranch Winery to fruition.
Exceptional wine deserves an exceptional view. The La Hacienda historical adobe is steps away from Hearst Ranch Winery with gorgeous vistas of rolling hills dotted with oak trees, neatly ordered vineyards, and the natural beauty of the Salinas River.
